Ministry
This is a ministry utilizing Christian music - not a Christian
music ministry.
It is a daily purpose of the Immanuel Broadcasting Network, Inc.
to pray with and minister to individuals whenever and wherever
required - either in person, on the air, or via the telephone,
etc., leading sinners to recognize Jesus Christ as their Savior.
It is also the daily purpose of the Immanuel Broadcasting
Network, Inc. to nurture the children of God to Spiritual
maturity.
Ministry on the air or in person must be exercised in any manner
specified by the Holy Spirit of God (i.e. prayer, scripture,
poetry, etc.).
We must unashamedly proclaim the Full Gospel of the Kingdom of
God without any reservation of man-made doctrine, fully
utilizing the manifestation of all the Gifts (I Cor. 12 and Eph.
4:22) and Fruit (Gal. 5:22-23) of the Holy Spirit of God.
At no time will the integrity of this ministry be jeopardized or
these Directives violated by listening and adhering to peoples
opinions, ideas, thoughts and doctrines that are discerned by
the Holy Spirit of God to be incorrect, ungodly wisdom, and/or
ungodly counsel.
All personnel on and off the air should be prepared to pray the
Sinner's Prayer at any time in an effort to lead individuals to
salvation. This prayer should be exercised several times weekly
on each shift.

The Immanuel Broadcasting Network signed on the air on January 24,
1983. It is the result of a vision given to Ed Tuten by God in May
1979 to build a Christian radio station in Cartersville. Immanuel
Broadcasting started as WCCV, a small 100-watt station. From there,
God began to stretch the vision. We began adding other translator
stations (low power transmitters that retransmit the signal from
WCCV on a different frequency). The power of WCCV was increased and
a new station was added-WJCK Cedartown. (This station has been
relocated to Piedmont, Alabama.)
Over the years, we have continued to grow. In October 1996, we
became one of the first two radio stations in the world to broadcast
live over the Internet. What started as a small radio station,
reaching the city of Cartersville, has spread to a large network of
stations and translators, reaching NW Georgia, SE Tennessee, and NE
Alabama. This gives us a potential listening audience of several
million people, which will increase as we add translators and
stations to our network.
We are a non-commercial 501 (c)3 organization, which means that all
of our funding comes from our listening audience and is tax
deductible. We rely on God to touch the hearts of listeners and
underwriters to send in gifts of support.
The mission of I.B.N. is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ around
the world, and to provide families and individuals with a faith
based conservative alternative to the broadcast media through
continuous Christ-centered programming
