Our Listening
Audience:
Our listening audience includes a cross section of socioeconomic
classes, races, and cultural backgrounds along with different
age groups. Since 1983, we have grown from a local radio station
covering a small city in NW Georgia, to a multi-location network
covering cities and rural areas of NW Georgia, NE Alabama, and
SE Tennessee. We have a potential listening audience of more
than 4 Million persons plus people around the world via the
internet.

The Mission Of IBN
The mission of IBN is to provide families and
individuals with a faith based, conservative alternative to the
broadcast media through continuous music, religious and educational
programming, and counseling support. Our goal of high moral
standards and changing the lives of people in the local communities
of our listening areas are attained through positive, faith-based
teachings. IBN accomplishes its mission and goals in two ways.
First, by continuous programming such as:
Focus on the Family, with Dr. James Dobson is a nationally
syndicated program that addresses family relationships and the
decline of decency and morality in America. The Christian Working
Woman is a nationally syndicated program that deals with
interpersonal and work related skills. Odyssey, is a program
designed to focus on problems concerning young children. Live & Life
on the Edge are nationally syndicated programs that deal with issues
facing today's teenagers and their families. Joyce Meyer, Life in
the Word, is heard twice daily. Joyce brings practical teaching and
life experiences to our listeners.
